Thermostat Housing (G2244106): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the thermostat housing. Install and tighten the bolt.

    Torque  : 10 Nm 

  2. Connect the 2 upper coolant hoses to the thermostat housing.
    • Connect the electrical connector and secure the 2 wiring harness clips.
    • Connect the 2 lower coolant hoses to the thermostat housing.
  4. Connect the 2 coolant hoses to the charge air cooler and secure the clip.
  5. Install the left air filter.

  6. Install the air filter outlet pipe T-connector.

    Refer to: AIR FILTER OUTLET PIPE T-CONNECTOR

  7. Vacuum fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING
