Right Exhaust Manifold (G2244082): Installation

CAUTION:
- Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
- Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) tip.
NOTE: If the original sensor is to be installed, apply lubricant meeting specification ESE-M12A4-A to the thread of the sensor.Special Tool(s): 310-121
Torque : 45 Nm
- NOTE: Install a new gasket.
Install the special tools.
Special Tool(s): 303-1444-01
Renew Part: Exhaust manifold gasket - right side Quantity: 1 .

NOTE: If a new cylinder head is installed use the special tools in the illustration.
Install the special tools.
Special Tool(s): 303-1444-02
- CAUTION: Make sure that new bolts are installed.NOTE: Install the spacers in the noted position.
Install the Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1652 , 303-1444-01
Renew Part: Exhaust manifold bolts Quantity: 6 .
Torque : 10 Nm
Remove the special tools.
Special Tool(s): 303-1444-01

NOTE: If equipped.
Remove the special tools.
Special Tool(s): 303-1444-02
- CAUTION: Make sure that new bolts are installed.NOTE: Install the spacers in the noted position.
Renew Part: Exhaust manifold bolts Quantity: 2 .
Torque : 10 Nm

CAUTION: Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
Remove the Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1652
Torque : 18 Nm
Torque : 3 Nm
Torque : 3 Nm
Torque : 25 Nm
- Refer to: RIGHT ENGINE MOUNT
- Refer to: RIGHT CATALYTIC CONVERTER
- Connect the battery ground cable.
