Startup Battery (G2760162): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
    • Install the startup battery.
    • Install the NVH  material.
    • Install the side battery clamp.
    • Install and tighten the side battery clamp bolt.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

    • Install the top battery clamp.
    • Install and tighten the top battery clamp nut.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 2 top battery clamp bolts.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

  3. Connect the startup battery breather hose.

    • Connect the startup battery positive cable.
    • Tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 6 Nm 

  5. Install the startup battery terminal cover.
  6. Connect the 12V system.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  7. NOTE: Only do the following step if a new component is to be installed.

    Use Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment, to reset the Battery Monitoring Sensor (BMS).
