The startup battery SOC is monitored by the BCM /GWM with the BMS. In Power Mode 7 (engine running) the startup battery SOC is maintained by the generator. The BCM /GWM communicates with the generator through the LIN connection.
The power from the startup battery is distributed to all the vehicle systems by the BJB.
