Radiator (G2497451): Removal

NOTE:

  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

    Refer to: LIFTING .

  2. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .

  3. Remove the cooling module.

    Refer to: COOLING MODULE  .

    • Remove the 8 bolts.
    • Remove the 2 radiator upper mounting brackets.

    Remove the electric cooling fan and shroud.

    Disconnect the coolant hose connector from the radiator.

    Remove the radiator.
