Block Heater (G2344460): Installation

CAUTION: The block heater threads must be started by hand. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

1. Install the new seal.
2. Install the block heater.
3. Use the special tool to tighten the block heater.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1661
  
  Torque : 55 Nm
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Install the clip.
Install the front left wheel arch liner.
Refer to: FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER .
Install the transmission undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD - V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G2263566) .
Vacuum fill the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING (G2497432) .
