Automatic Transmission Apply

The EPB  is automatically applied when the Park button is pressed or the transmission engages PARK automatically.

To prevent this automatic operation, after pressing Park button to engage the EPB  and transmission PARK, press the brake pedal and hold PARK button for 1 second. The EPB  releases but transmission remains in Park.
