33. Conduct road test and checks.

NOTE:
  • If a vehicle has recently moved into the workshop from outside, the temperature readings may differ from the ambient workshop temperature.
  • If the temperature readings are not displayed, or differ excessively from the ambient temperature; use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to complete an Ambient Temperature Reset.

Check the external temperature reading displayed in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and the Interactive Display Module A (IDMA).

The temperature readings should be comparable with the ambient temperature.

CAUTION: Optimum braking efficiency is only achieved after bedding in brake disc and pads. It is important to avoid repeated hard use of the brakes during the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) road test.
