Secondary Bulkhead Center Panel - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol (G2113056): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to:LIFTING (G189141)
Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .

Remove the 2 retaining nuts.
Remove the cowl panel.
Refer to: COWL PANEL .
Remove the engine cover.
Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL .

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

Release the engine wiring harness to one side.

Release the brake vacuum pipe.

Release the electrical wiring retaining clip.
WARNING: To avoid damage carefully remove the noise, vibration and harshness material.

NOTE: Engine is removed for clarity.

- Remove the 6 retaining nuts.
- Remove the noise vibration and harshness material.
NOTE: Engine is removed for clarity.

- Remove the adhesive from the mating surface.
