Hood (G2172311): Installation

Install the 2 windshield washer jets.
- Install the pedestrian protection system airbag.
- Install and tighten the 12 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the electrical connector.
Install the weatherstrip.
CAUTION: Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.
- Install the hood latches.
- Install and tighten the 6 nuts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the windshield washer hose.
- Install the 6 clips.
- Connect the 2 windshield washer hose connector.
- Install the wiring harness.
- Install the 7 clips.
- Connect the 3 electrical connectors.

Install the weatherstrip.

Install the weatherstrip to the correct orientation.
- Install the noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) pad.
- Install the 7 clips.
WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.

CAUTION: Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.
- Install the hood.
- Install and tighten the 6 nuts.
  Torque : 25 Nm
- Install the 2 struts.
- Install the 2 clips.
Align the hood.

Connect the startup battery ground cable.
