Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the coolant pump using new seals.
    CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the gaskets are correctly located.
    • Install all the bolts finger tight before final tightening.

    Renew Part: Engine coolant pump gasket. 

    Renew Part: Oil cooler to water pump O-ring seals. 

    Torque Specification: 12 Nm 

  2. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.

    Torque Specification: 47 Nm 

  3. Secure the clip and the coolant hose from the coolant pump.
  4. Install the thermostat bolt.

    Torque Specification: 9 Nm 

  5. Install the coolant hose into the coolant pump.
  6. Install the accessory drive belt.

    Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt .

  7. Fill the coolant system.

    Refer to: Cooling System Draining and Vacuum Filling .
