Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).

  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Engine Oil Draining and Filling  (General Procedures).
  4. Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt (Removal and Installation).
  5. Refer to: Crankshaft Pulley  (Removal).
