Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).

  2. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Air Deflector (Removal and Installation).

    Torque Specification: 60 Nm

    Torque Specification: 48 Nm 

  6. G11309746

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm 

  7. Refer to: Air Deflector (Removal and Installation).

  11. CAUTION: Using a suitable tie strap, position and secure the component to one side.

    Torque Specification: 25 Nm 

  12. CAUTION: Use a wooden block to protect the oil pan when supporting the engine.

    Using a suitable hydraulic jack, support the engine.
