Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

  • Always plug any open connections to prevent contamination.
  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
  2. Refer to: Petrol and Petrol-Ethanol Fuel Systems Health and Safety Precautions .
  3. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release (General Procedures).
  4. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  5. Refer to: Hood (Removal and Installation).

  6. Refer to: Cooling System Draining And Vacuum Filling (General Procedures).

  7. Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud (Removal and Installation).
  8. NOTE: Refer to: Front Halfshaft (Removal and Installation).

    The procedure must be carried out on both sides.
