NOTE:
- Before carrying out any brake noise diagnosis, make sure the customer questionnaire has been completed.
- Discuss the following points with the customer to understand when the noise occurs: -

| What was the outside temperature during the brake noise - warm or cold? | |
| What were the environmental conditions - snow, rain, dry, dusty? | |
| How was the vehicle being driven at the time which the noise occurred - slow/fast, straight line or turning? | |
| Which direction was the vehicle traveling when the noise occurred - forward or reverse? | |
| Is there a particular brake(s) that makes the noise - Left/Right/Front/Rear? | |
| Can they describe the noise as a high pitched squeal, low pitch graunch/groan? |
