Valve Block

The valve block controls the air supply and distribute to the 2 rear air springs. The valve block contains 2 solenoid operated valves. The valve block is located in the luggage compartment and fixed with 3 rubber bushes to the floor panel. The valve block is controlled by the Chassis Control Module (CHCM) on hardwired connections.
The valve block incorporates:
- The 2 normally closed solenoid valves, 1 for each of the rear air springs.
- A pressure sensor to monitor the pressure in the line between the air compressor assembly and the 2 solenoid valves.
Each of the valves is individually controlled by the CHCM.
The CHCM uses the pressure sensor signal to confirm that the air suspension system hardware is working correctly.
