Air Suspension Compressor (G2909359): Removal
CAUTION:
Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
Remove the loadspace floor panel.
Remove the loadspace stowage tray.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
Disconnect the air line connector.
Refer to: AIR LINE CONNECTOR
- Remove the 4 nuts.
- Remove the air suspension compressor.

NOTE:
- Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
- Repeat this step on the other side.
Remove the bracket.
Use suitable tape to cover the air line and electrical connector openings.
- Use a 4 mm drill to remove the head of the rivets.
- Use a suitable tool to release the rivet bodies.
General Equipment : 2 mm punch
- Remove the outer cover.

CAUTION: Do not pull on the electrical connectors to release the clips.
- Remove the inner assembly from the outer assembly.
- Remove the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
- Use a 4 mm drill to remove the head of the rivets.
- Use a suitable tool to release the rivet bodies.
General Equipment : 2 mm punch
- Remove the inner cover.
- Remove all drilling debris.

CAUTION: Do not reuse the air line connector. Always install a new air line connector every time it is released.
Disconnect and discard the air line connector.

- Use a 4 mm drill to remove the head of the rivets.
- Use a suitable tool to release the rivet bodies.
General Equipment : 2 mm punch
- Remove the air suspension compressor expansion chamber.
