Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. NOTE: Only carry out this step if previously removed.
    • Install the oil pick up pipe onto the oil pump assembly.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts securing the oil pick up pipe to the oil pump assembly.

    Torque Specification: 12 Nm 

    • Install the oil pump assembly.
    • Install and tighten the 4 bolts securing the oil pump to the engine assembly.

    Torque Specification: 25 Nm 

  3. Install the oil pump solenoid wiring harness and secure in position with the 4 retaining clips.
  4. Connect the oil pump solenoid electrical connector.
  5. Install the oil pump chain.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
