Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the fuel level sender.

    Refer to: Fuel Level Sender .

  2. Install all previously removed fuel supply lines to the fuel tank.
    CAUTION: Make sure that all the O-ring seals are correctly installed before connecting the fuel supply line connectors.

    1. Using a suitable stand, support the fuel tank and connect the fuel pump and breather pipe.
    2. Install the 4 fuel tank retaining bracket bolts.

      General Equipment:  Transmission jack

      Torque Specification: 25 Nm 

  4. Connect all the remaining fuel supply lines.
  5. Install the heat shield.
  6. Connect the fuel filler pipe.
  7. Install both the underside trim panels.
  8. Install both the underside aero trims.
  9. Install the rear driveshaft.

    Refer to: Driveshaft - V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol .

    Refer to: Driveshaft - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol .

    Refer to: Driveshaft - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel .

  10. Connect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .

  11. Refill the fuel tank.
