Instrument Cluster: Removal
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- 19MY onward vehicles and non-NAS markets only - if a new instrument cluster is to be installed, a new Remote Function Actuator (RFA) may be required. All vehicle keys must be presented to complete the RFA renewal.

Use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to collect information from the instrument cluster.

CAUTION: If the software number is K8D2-14C104-AC or L8B2-14C104-AC, a new RFA will be required.NOTE:
- This step is only applicable to 19MY onward vehicles.
- Non-NAS Markets only.
Using the Jaguar diagnostic equipment, read the RFA software number.
General Equipment: Jaguar diagnostic equipment
- Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Fully extend and lower the steering column for access.
