Brake Fluid Reservoir (G2214058): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

1. Install new brake fluid reservoir seals.

   Renew Part: Brake fluid reservoir kit  Quantity: 1  .

2. Install the brake fluid reservoir.

   Torque: 7Nm

3. Connect the low pressure return pipe.
4. Install the brake fluid level sensor to the reservoir.
5. Install the windshield wiper motor and linkage.

   Refer to: WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR (G2219038)

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Right-hand drive vehicles

6. Install the Electric Vehicle battery coolant expansion tank.

   Refer to: ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY COOLANT EXPANSION TANK .

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Left-hand drive vehicles

7. Install the coolant expansion tank.

   Refer to: ELECTRIC DRIVE UNIT COOLANT EXPANSION TANK .

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   All vehicles

   Fill the brake fluid reservoir to the 'MAX' mark.

9. Connect the 12V system.

   Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT ..

10. Using the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) diagnostic equipment, select 'Exit Control Module Manufacturing Service Mode'.

    General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment 

11. Bleed the brake system.
12. Install the correctly specified brake fluid reservoir cap.
