Tie Rod (G2248516): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.

    Connect the tie-rod to the subframe and tighten the new nut.

    Renew Part: Tie-rod end locking nut  Quantity: 1 

    Torque 

    Stage 1: 60Nm 

    Stage 2: 90° 

  2. CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.

    Connect the tie-rod to the wheel knuckle and tighten the new nut and bolt.

    Renew Part: Tie-rod nut and bolt  Quantity: 1 

    Torque 

    Stage 1: 80Nm 

    Stage 2: 60° 

  3. Using only 4 wheel alignment equipment approved by Jaguar Land Rover, check the wheel alignment and adjust if required.
