Rear Shock Absorber (G2219848): Installation
Install the shock absorber boot to the upper bracket.

- Install the shock absorber bumper.
- Install the washer.
- Install the shock absorber boot and upper bracket.
- Install and tighten the shock absorber nut.
Renew Part: Shock absorber nut Quantity: 1
Torque
With adaptive shock absorbers: 27Nm
Without adaptive shock absorbers: 40Nm

- Install the rear shock absorber.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
Renew Part: Shock absorber upper mounting nuts Quantity: 2
Torque
Stage 1: 60Nm
Stage 2: 60°

CAUTION: This nut and bolt must be tightened with the vehicle at normal ride height.
- Install the nut and bolt.
Renew Part: Shock absorber nut and bolt Quantity: 1
Torque
Stage 1: 70Nm
Stage 2: 120°

NOTE: Vehicles equipped with adaptive shock absorbers only.
Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the rear wheel arch liner.
Refer to: REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER .
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, pressurize the air suspension system.
Refer to: AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM DEPRESSURIZE AND PRESSURIZE .
