Wheel Bearing (G2225402): Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the rear wheel knuckle.

Using the special tools JLR-201-726 and JLR-204-836 remove the wheel hub.
Special Tool(s) : JLR-204-726, JLR-204-836
General Equipment : Hydraulic press

CAUTION:
- Take care not to damage the wheel hub during the release of the bearing inner race.
- Use a suitable tool.
Release the wheel bearing inner race.
General Equipment : Chisel
Using the special tool JLR-204-305 remove the wheel bearing inner race.
Special Tool(s) : 204-305
General Equipment : Hydraulic press
Inspect the wheel hub for damage or deterioration.
Remove and discard the circlip.

CAUTION: Note the orientation of the rear wheel bearing prior to removal.
Using the special tool JLR-204-726 remove the wheel bearing.
Special Tool(s) : JLR-204-726
General Equipment : Hydraulic press
Clean and inspect the wheel knuckle for damage or deterioration.
