Lower Control Arm (G2214447): Removal
CAUTION:
The suspension arm nuts and bolts must be tightened with the suspension arms in the normal ride position. Failure to follow this instruction may result in premature failure of the bush.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with coil suspension
- Remove the spring.
Refer to: SPRING .
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with air suspension
- Remove and discard the nut.
- Release the stabilizer bar link.
- Remove the rear air spring.
Refer to: REAR AIR SPRING .
- Remove and discard the integral link nut and bolt.
- Reposition the integral links.
Remove and discard the lower control arm to wheel knuckle bolt.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
Disconnect the suspension height sensor link.
- Release the wheel speed sensor harness from the bracket.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bracket.
Remove and discard the nut and bolt.
- Remove and discard the nut and bolt.
- Remove the lower control arm.
