Air Suspension System Calibration
A calibration routine is completed using the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment. The calibration routine is used to access the position of each corner of the vehicle and record the settings in the Chassis Control Module (CHCM) memory.
Height Sensor Calibration
The calibration routine is performed using the JLR approved diagnostic equipment:
- To read the position of each corner of the vehicle.
- Record the settings in the CHCM memory.
Once set, the calibration is not required to be completed, unless:
- The CHCM is removed or replaced.
- A height sensor is removed or replaced.
- A suspension control arm to which the height sensor is connected is removed or replaced.
If the removed height sensor is subsequently installed, the calibration procedure will have to be completed to make sure the integrity of the system.
If a height sensor drop link is replaced the calibration procedure must be also completed.
