Chassis Control Module
The Chassis Control Module (CHCM) is located behind the loadspace side trim panel on the right side. The CHCM is attached to a bracket with 3 nuts. The bracket is secured to the vehicle body.
The CHCM is the main controller of the air suspension system. The CHCM monitors the height of each corner of the vehicle via 4 height sensors, which are mounted in-board of each road wheel.
When a new CHCM is equipped, the air suspension software should be loaded and the system calibrated using the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment. The air suspension system will not function until the calibration is completed.
