Automatic Transmission Release

The Electric Park Brake (EPB) is automatically released when:

• The Transmission Control Switch (TCS) is taken out of PARK (P).
• As long as the brake pedal is applied.
• And the ignition is in Power Mode 7 (shift from park release).

To prevent this automatic operation, operate and hold the EPB switch in the apply position when the TCS is taken out of PARK (P).
