Rear Shock Absorber - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel/INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol/TDV6 3.0L Diesel/V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol (G1899817): Removal

CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height

NOTE:

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Remove the rear wheel and tire.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL/INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL/TDV6 3.0L DIESEL/V6 S/C 3.0L RETROL (G1967109)

Using a suitable stand, support the lower arm.

Release and reposition the fender splash shield.

Disconnect the wiring harness.

- Remove the shock absorber to body retaining nuts.
- Discard the nuts.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Discard the nut.
