Fuel Tank (G1901946): Installation

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
Make sure that all the O-ring seals are correctly installed before connecting the fuel supply line connectors.
- Install the fuel pump and sensor unit.

The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with fuel fired heater

- Connect the fuel pipe.
- Install the fuel pipe to the 5 clips.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles

- Connect the 2 fuel pipes.
- Install the 2 fuel pipes to the 4 clips.

- Using a suitable support, raise the fuel tank.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Connect the fuel pipe.
- Install the 2 brackets and finger tighten the 4 nuts.
- Tighten the 4 nuts.
Torque : 25 Nm
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with fuel fired heater
- Connect the 2 fuel pipes.

- Connect the fuel pipe.
- Install the clip.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Connect the 2 fuel pipes.
- Install the fuel tank shield and the 5 nuts.
- Install the 2 fuel tank shields and the 2 nuts.

- Connect the fuel filler pipe.
- Install and tighten the clamp.

NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.
- Install the undershield and the 15 bolts.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.
Install the mudflap and the 3 bolts.
- Install the driveshaft.

- Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Fill the fuel tank with the amount recovered during the fuel tank drain procedure.
