Oil Pump - Vehicles With: PHEV (G2756534): Removal

Disconnect the 12V system.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Remove the oil pump drive chain.
Refer to: OIL PUMP DRIVE CHAIN - VEHICLES WITH: PHEV (G2756533)

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release and push through the electrical connector across the cylinder block.

- Release the wiring harness at 3 clips.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the oil pump.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal from the electrical connector.

Remove the gasket from the oil pump.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the pickup pipe from the oil pump.
- Remove and discard the gasket.
