Block Heater (G2344460): Removal

NOTE:

  1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

    Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING -- F-PACE/X761 .

  2. Partially drain the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING (G2497432)  .

  3. Remove the transmission undershield.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD - V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G2263566) .

  4. Remove the front left wheel arch liner.

    Refer to: FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER .

    1. Release the clip.
    2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    3. Use the special tool to remove the block heater.

      Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1661 

    4. Remove and discard the seal.
