Rear Bumper - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G2263083): Installation

  1. NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.

    Install the trim panels on both sides.

    • Install the rear bumper reflectors on both sides.
    • Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
    • Install the rear fog lamps on both sides.
    • Install and tighten the 6 bolts.

      Torque  : 1.3 Nm 

  4. NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
    • Install the 4 parking aid sensors.
    • Install the 2 park assist sensors.
  5. NOTE: Make sure that the clips are installed in the correct orientation.
    • Install the rear bumper wiring harness.
    • Connect the 8 electrical connectors.
  6. CAUTION: Make sure to protect the paintwork.
    NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
    • With assistance, install the rear bumper.
    • Secure the rear bumper on both sides.
    • Install and tighten the 2 upper bolts to the rear bumper.
    • Install the 2 fasteners to the rear bumper.
    • Install the 2 rear quarter panel mouldings.
    • Install the tailgate weatherstrip on both sides.
    • Install the rear valance.
    • Install and tighten the 7 bolts.
    • Connect the 2 electrical connectors on the left side of the rear bumper.
    • Install the rear bumper wiring harness to the bracket.
  11. Install the 2 outside screws to the rear bumper on both sides.
  12. Install the 2 screws to the rear wheel arch liner on both sides.
  13. NOTE: Repeat the procedure for the other side.

    Install the rear wheels and tires.
