Headlamp Adjustment - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel/INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol/TDV6 3.0L Diesel/V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G1904223)

NOTE:

This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
Make sure to check and adjust the tire pressures to the correct level.
Park the vehicle on a horizontally level surface.
Gently rock the vehicle to make sure the suspension is settled.
If a manual leveling switch is fitted, make sure it is set to 0 position.
Make sure the vehicles fuel tank is full.

Align the headlamp beam setting equipment to one headlamp. Headlamp beam setter
NOTE: The headlamp setting is 1 % below horizontal and parallel.

Check the headlamp beam alignment.
Open the hood.
NOTE: Vehicles with Halogen or Xenon headlamps

Adjust the headlamps with an Allen Key.
- Rotate the adjuster 'A' for horizontal alignment.
- Rotate the adjuster 'B' for vertical alignment.
NOTE: Vehicles with LED headlamps

Adjust the headlamps with an Allen Key.

- Rotate the adjuster 'B' for vertical alignment.
To adjust the second headlamp, repeat the above procedure.
