Rear Shock Absorber - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G2263803): Installation

CAUTION: Make sure that the boot is correctly installed.

NOTE: Install the components in the noted removal positions.

- Assemble the components.
- Install and tighten the new shock absorber top nut.
  Renew Part: Shock absorber upper mounting nut Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque: 27 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the shock absorber.
- Install the shock absorber.
- Install and tighten the 2 new shock absorber upper nuts.
  Renew Part: Shock absorber upper mounting nuts Quantity: 2 .
  
  Torque
  
  Stage 1: 48 Nm
  
  Stage 2: 45°
- Install and tighten the new shock absorber nut and bolt to the wheel knuckle.
  Renew Part: Shock absorber nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque: 170 Nm
- Remove the transmission jack.
  General Equipment: Transmission jack
- Install the wheel and tire.
