Input Shaft Seal (G1579986): Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Install a new seal.
    • Take extra care not to damage the edges of the component.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-308-845 

    Renew Part: Input shaft seal Quantity: 1  .

  2. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.

  3. CAUTION: Make sure the torque converter is fully located into the oil pump drive.
