Brake Caliper - V8 S/C 5.0L RETROL (G2264157): Installation

NOTE:
- Only do this step if the component was previously removed.
- Make sure that a new o-ring seal is installed.

- Install the new O-ring seal.
  Renew Part: Electric park brake actuator fitting kit Quantity: 1 .
- Install the Electric Park Brake (EPB) actuator.
- Install and tighten the 2 new bolts.
  Torque: 8 Nm

- Install the brake caliper.
- Install and tighten the 2 slide pins into the brake caliper.
  Torque: 28 Nm
- Install the 2 dust caps.
NOTE: Make sure the brake hose is installed in the correct orientation.

- Install the brake hose to the body bracket.
  Renew Part: Brake hose Quantity: 1 .
- Install the clip.
- Connect and tighten the brake pipe union.
  Torque: 15 Nm
- Connect the brake hose to the caliper and tighten the banjo bolt.
  Torque: 32 Nm
NOTE: The brake pad wear sensor is installed on the right side only

- Connect the brake pad wear sensor to the brake pad.
- Secure the 2 grommets.
- Connect the electrical connector to the EPB actuator.

Install the brake caliper anti-rattle spring.
Install the rear wheel arch liner.

Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment and disable the EPB maintenance position.
General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
Bleed the brake system.
Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING
Install the wheel and tire assembly.
