Coolant Expansion Tank (G2195940): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

Remove the engine upper support insulator.
Refer to: ENGINE UPPER SUPPORT INSULATOR .

WARNING: Observe due care when removing the cap if the engine is hot.

Remove the coolant expansion tank filler cap.
Using a syringe, remove the engine coolant from the coolant expansion tank.

- Remove the coolant expansion tank retaining bolt.
- Disconnect the coolant pipes and the coolant hose.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the coolant expansion tank.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the engine coolant level sensor and harness.
