Brake Master Cylinder (G2172299): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

1. CAUTION:

   • Make sure that new retaining nuts are installed.
   • Make sure a new O-ring seal is installed.

   • Install the brake master cylinder.

     Renew Part: Brake master cylinder nuts and seal kit Quantity: 1  .

   • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

   Torque  : 25 Nm 

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Right-hand drive vehicles

2. Install the secondary bulkhead center panel.

   Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD CENTER PANEL - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL .

   Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD CENTER PANEL - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL .

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   All vehicles

3. • Connect the 2 brake pipes.

   Torque  : 17 Nm 

4. Install the brake fluid reservoir.

   Refer to: BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR .
