Overhead Console (G2165255): Removal

CAUTION:

CAUTION: Apply heatshrink or protective tape to the end of a suitable tool to protect the interior components.

Apply heatshrink or protective tape to the end of the screw-driver.
CAUTION:
- Care must be taken during this operation. Do not use excessive force or the headliner may distort and a new component will need to be installed.
- Carefully release either side of the component to avoid damage.
- Use a suitable plastic trim tool to release the component.

- Release the overhead console.

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the overhead console.

- NOTE: Only carry out the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.
Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the wiring harness.
CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harness and electrical connectors are not damaged during this operation.

- Release the 3 wires.
- Remove the 3 motion sensors.
- Remove the motion sensor module.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wire harness.
- Release the 3 clips.
- Remove the mobile phone microphone.
