Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE: This procedure contains some variation in the illustration depending on the vehicle specification, but essential information is always correct.
  1. Recover the air conditioning refrigerant.

    Refer to: Air Conditioning System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging (General Procedures).

  2. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

    Refer to: Lifting .

    General Equipment:  Two-post lift

  3. Remove the front bumper.

    Refer to: Front Bumper .

    Remove the 2 upper air deflector trims.

  5. G11315032

    Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

  6. G11315033

    Remove the adaptive speed control module mounting bracket.

  7. G11315034

    Remove the active radiator vanes.

  8. CAUTION: Immediately cap all refrigerant lines to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture.

    Disconnect the refrigerant lines and discard the O-ring seals.

    Remove the lower air deflector trim.

    Remove the lower mounting bracket.

    Remove the 3 mounting brackets.

  12. G11315039

    Release the side clip and remove the condenser from the vehicle.
