NOTE:

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Drain the cooling system.

- Remove the air cleaner pipe connector.
Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe T-Connector .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
Refer to: Left Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Remove the air cleaner.

- Disconnect the 2 coolant pipes.CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the 2 coolant pipes.CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the clips and remove the electric thermostat.CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.NOTE: The retaining clips cannot be removed from the pipe.
