Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: Lifting .
Partially drain the cooling system.
Refer to: Cooling System Partial Draining and Vacuum Filling .
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the 3 upper coolant hoses.
1. Release the 2 lower coolant hoses.
1. Inspect the O-ring seal. Replace if damaged.

Remove the coolant degas separator.
