Hydraulic Brake Actuation - Project 8 (G2231196): Overview

The hydraulic brake actuation system consists of:

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control module with integrated Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)
The Body Control Module/Gateway Module (BCM/GWM)
The Instrument Cluster (IC)
The brake pedal with brake pedal switch
The brake fluid reservoir
The brake master cylinder and brake booster
The brake pipes and hoses.

The brake pipes and hoses are arranged to provide a diagonally split hydraulic system.
