Drive Pinion Seal Vehicles Without Heavy Duty Differential - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel/INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol (G2131352): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

General Equipment: 2 post lift
Drain the rear differential oil.
Refer to: DIFFERENTIAL DRAINING AND FILLING VEHICLES WITHOUT HEAVY DUTY DIFFERENTIAL
Remove the rear driveshaft.

Remove the circlip.

Mark the drive pinion shaft in relation to the drive flange.

Using the special tool, remove the drive pinion flange.

Carefully remove and discard the drive pinion oil seal.
