Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. NOTE: The fixing must be fully tightened immediately following installation. Do not leave the fixing partially installed as adhesive may be activated.

    Apply pressure to the steering column lock actuator as shown then install and tighten the tamper proof fixings simultaneously until the head sheers.

  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  3. Calibrate the steering column lock actuator as new module, using Jaguar approved diagnostic equipment.
