Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
    • Tighten the retaining screws evenly and progressively in the sequence shown.
    NOTE: Make sure that the throttle body is installed in the correct orientation as noted on the removal step.

    Torque Specification: 12 Nm 

  2. Attach the wiring harness and connect the throttle body electrical connector.

  3. Install the charge air cooler pipe.

    Torque Specification: 3.2 Nm 

  4. Install the charge air cooler.

    Refer to: Charge Air Cooler .

  5. If a new component has been installed, configure using Jaguar approved diagnostic equipment.
