Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
    WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
  2. Refer to: Diesel Exhaust Fluid Tank Drain and Refill .
  3. Access through the rear left wheel arch.
    NOTE: Right illustration shown, left is similar.

  4. Refer to: Diesel Exhaust Fluid Filler Assembly .
  5. The quick connector is pushed in an axial direction onto the SAE spigot, until you hear a audible click.
    CAUTION: Make sure that all disconnected electrical connectors and sockets are sealed.
    NOTE: Disconnect the components in the sequence shown.

    Torque: 7 Nm
