Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.

    Refer to: Lifting .

  2. Remove the air deflector.

    Refer to: Air Deflector .

  3. Release the vacuum pipe and reposition away from the engine mount assembly.

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Support the engine with the lifting equipment.
    CAUTION: Support the engine on a jack. The angle may need to be adjusted during this procedure.

    General Equipment: Hydraulic floor jacks (2 tonnes minimum capacity)

    • Remove the engine mount nut.
    • Release the ground cable and reposition away from the engine mount.
  7. Remove the 2 engine mount retaining bolts.

  8. Remove the upper engine mount bracket bolt.

  9. Release the 3 remaining engine mount bracket bolts and remove the engine mount bracket.

  10. Remove the engine mount from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Note the fitted position of the component prior to removal.
