Pinpoint Test N: An App That Is Speed-Inhibited Can Be Opened While The Vehicle Is In Motion

TEST CONDITIONS

- N1: CHECK THE FUNCTIONALITY OF OTHER SPEED INHIBITED APPS
- Check if other speed-inhibited apps be opened whilst the vehicle is in motion
Can other speed-inhibited apps be opened whilst the vehicle is in motion?
- Yes : GO to N3.
- No : GO to N2.
- N2: CHECK THE CURRENT SPEED-INHIBITED STATUS OF THE APP
- Check the status of the app
Has the app concerned been recently removed from the list of speed-inhibited apps?
- Yes : Inform the customer that the app has now been removed from the list of speed-inhibited apps and can be used on the move
- No : GO to N3.
- N3: CHECK THE SOFTWARE VERSION OF THE PHONE/DEVICE APP
- Check the version of the InControl™ Apps app software installed on the phone/device
Does the phone/device have the latest version of the InControl™ Apps app software installed?
- Yes : GO to O1.
- No : Update the phone with the latest version of the InControl™ Apps app software and try opening the app again. If the speed-inhibited app still opens while the vehicle is moving, check whether the same fault occurs when using a different device connected to the system. If the fault cannot be replicated using a different device, it is likely that there is a fault with the original phone/device. Advise the customer accordingly
